One of my favourite memories of myself and Great Uncle Eric is of course, one from the caravan :-) It was a lovely sunny afternoon and my Nan and Grandad had taken me there for the day. I can't remember how old I was but I was fairly young. Taking advantage of the sun, Uncle Eric taught me how to burn my name into wood using a magnifying glass. Not an exciting thing to most but I was fascinated and so excited to have been able to possess this skill. So Thank you Uncle Eric, you taught me something that I won't find very useful in the future but it is something I am happy to know.
